I want your skull.

I ordered two of these today from Fright Catalog, so look for something rad out of those soon. I’ve been on a waiting list for months to get these, so if they’re in stock when you see them and you want them, order them!
I’ve already started making myself nervous with thoughts of all the colors of icing I’ll need to mix up to make proper Dia de los Muertos cupcakes. That’s right, nervous, because that’s what I do when I can’t sleep at night- lay there and think about frosting and cake pans. Honestly. I wish I was kidding.
I also have a bakery I go to when I’m sleeping, stupidly enough called Sweet Dreams Bakery. In my waking life I thought it was a real place until one day I mentioned to my husband that we should go back there because the vanilla cupcakes were killer. After several minutes of me accusing him of not caring about what I care about I realized Sweet Dreams wasn’t a real place, it was a place my brain made up for me to buy cake at when I’m sleeping. I also had an awesome dream once that I had a cupcake stand in my front yard and it was WAY successful. Suffice it to say I was pretty bummed to wake up and see little more in my front yard than week-old grocery store circulars and dead grass.
Go buy skull pans!
Check out my Etsy shop for shirts and stuff.

Man…I wish you lived closer to me!
My anniversary is on Halloween and I want to have a themed party.
These cupcakes would be perfect!!!!!!!
But I can’t bake…let alone bake yummy vegan stuff!

Holy crap! I totally just ordered those. I love them. Can’t wait to see what you come up with. I actually run an imaginary bakery in my dreams occasionally.

and the skull molds are awesome. can’t wait to see how they turn out – its more of a challenge than i would take on by myself!

I’m just glad to know I’m not the only one who can’t sleep due to thoughts of cupcakes!

Sadly, I lose sleep over cupcakes as well!
Some of my best ideas come to me when I’m too lazy to get out of bed and jot them down.
