This frosting is tasty on French toast cupcakes, pumpkin cupcakes, spice cupcakes… pretty much any fall flavor.
You will need:
- 2 cups confectioner’s sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 Tbs pure maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp maple-flavored extract
- pinch salt
Mix everything with an electric mixer. Eat it up.
If you cringe thinking about the price of real maple syrup check your local Target, it’s cheap there for whatever reason.
