Congratulations to Chicago’s own Dimitri Fayard for helping to bring home the 2008 World Pastry Team Championship! Wow, now the Bears just need to win another Superbowl and it’s like, every team I’ve been rooting for will have success. Ok, now let’s all chant… USA! USA! USA! In your face, world!

Yay Dimitri!
Funnily enough, the Fayards are my neighbors – as in they live in my building – but I had no idea who they were until I happened to come across a mention of them somewhere, and went holy crap, really? They’re famous?
Then I went to Vanille and understood why. Holy crap indeed.
