What’s New, Pussycat?

It never occurs to me that I am quite possibly the world’s busiest human until someone rattles off a list of things I do as a reponse to my saying “I don’t do anything.” I most recently made the remark to a co-worker who reminded me that I have a full-time job at a small (there are 8 of us and 190,000 customers) green business, I have a three-year-old son, I run several blogs and websites (this one, Send More Cops, the Donut Database, Teno Destructo), contribute to a few other sites you may have heard of (BrutalAsHell.com and All Things Cupcake), do a little freelance writing here and there, run a small business, juggle book and TV show proposals (uh yeah, details on those when I’m legally free to fill you in on them), and I get it all done with enough time left over to hang out with my husband and the occasional BFF.
Dang. And the thing is, I know there are even busier people reading this right now! Tattooed Mama, I’m looking at you, girl.
Anyway, I just wanted to take a sec (I’m at work, eating a big bowl of weirdness- left over spinach and garlic soup with left over Moroccan curry) to say that I am launching BakeAndDestroy.net as I said a few months ago- Jess is finalizing my mock ups this week and I’m sure they’ll be amazing. I’m also helping out with Vegan Week over at All Things Cupcake, very excited about the interviews I have lined up for that and finally- I just added hemp totes to my shop! I’ve got some other stuff in the works for summer time, but we’ll see where possible book deal and maybe my own web show take me before I start worrying about what to slap my logo on next.
So thanks for hanging on even when I’m boring, and if anyone has recommendations for a nice tea that will make me stop twitching and ticking at night when I’m trying to stop thinking about work and blogs and Etsy shops- yes, that would be awesome.
Oh- last minute update: Cupcakes Take the Cake just named Bake and Destroy one of their top-ten favorite cupcake blogs! I am SO stoked.

I know what you mean about being busy…I am at my “real” job 84 hours a week (yes, half the week) and I also am a mommy and I have a photography business. I just started another business doing website/blog design – something I enjoyed back in the 90s!
