Here’s wishing a happy Mother’s Day to all the hard-working mamas out there! A special shout out to my mom, Lynne, who raised me to be the smart-mouthed sassbox you all know and love. You taught me to do what I love, to share myself freely,to try new things without fear of failure and most all all, to always be myself so long as it means being honest and compassionate. I never knew how hard you worked to make the three of us into smart, happy people, but now that I have a little jerk of my own it becomes clearer and clearer every day. You’re wonderful, you’re beautiful, and I love you more than anything. Thanks for making me awesome. (^_^)

i did good, didn’t i? you are awesome, and you’re a awesome mom. if nothing else, i know that i have taught you that mothers eff up, too. that was intentional. i didn’t want you to grow up with an unachievable goal of perfection, you know.

What a great post! I love your Mom’s comment too! Yes, we do eff up and sometimes in a big way, but we are all human! Your Mom sounds as if she is just as awesome as you!!
