As much as I enjoyed this tour of da ET, I have to call bullshit on a Joliet music video without any shots of: Homecut Donuts, Hey Hot Dog, Merichka’s or Dan’s Candies. Where’s the Northside love, money? I mean, I’m 10 years out in Chicago and I can rattle off more classic Joliet scenery than there is in this video just naming the places I ate when I was in high school.
I have to say this Joliet promo starring Tesla is much more representative of the J-Town I grew up in:
So p.ruffins, no disrespect, but I am the cat behind C.R.E.A.M. (Cake Rules Everything Around Me) and I’ll be watching you for a more accurate representation of Prison City -- I’m talking Haunted Trails, I’m talking Aurelio’s Pizza and I’m talking mutha fuckin corn fritters from mutha fuckin’ White Fence Farm. (Potato tacos from Tony’s Place get their own song.)
