After combing over the dozens of outstanding submissions we received for our custom apron contest, Cynthia of Cupcake Provocateur and I have finally settled on some finalists. Now it’s in YOUR hands to choose the winner!
Cast your vote by leaving a comment with the apron (from the finalists below, duh) you think Cynthia should make. The designer with the most votes will have her apron custom made for her – and a handful of lucky voters will receive prizes from Cupcake Provocateur, Reuseit.com and more! Please cast only one vote – finalists are listed in no particular order.

Arrgggh! I’ve been sat on my ass for 15 minutes trying to choose one – they’re all brilliant! Although I would totally buy Emm Mayes’ Nautical apron if I saw it in a shop, I’m gonna have to vote for Lisa Chen’s Peacock because it’s beautiful and so original…never seen anything like it before.

Ok, I’ve been toying with the idea of not voting for myself (everyone’s ideas are freakin’ awesome)- but then I realize there’s a tiny chance that I could be sportin’ a Lucha apron around the house (whether I’m baking cupcakes or kickin’ some booty), with a cute little sacred heart cut-out pocket and those turquois chi chi balls and baking cute lucha libre mask cupcakes… so I guess I have to cave and vote for myself. Oh wow. Its between #2 Peacock and #6 Lucha Libre. Both so unique. The Peacock one would make me feel pretty and elegant, but the Lucha one would make me feel like slamming the oven into the ground and talking in a low grunt.

This is a really hard choice! I have to go with Kimberly Doss – Cherry Rockabilly, mostly because my kitchen is also Cherry Rockabilly themed, so it would look right at home in my house!

I dig #3 and #4 the most, but I will vote for #4 because it is cool and actually a design and functional apron…whats with all the votes for the 2 that are just pictures…there is no “design” there just inspirational pictures from google…lame. #1 looks like a dress, and #2 is a bit over the top to be functional.
